Terms of Service
Last updated 1 May 2026
These terms govern your use of HumanBase (humanbase.co.uk). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
HumanBase is operated by an independent maker, contactable at [email protected]. We are a small service and we treat that as a feature, not an excuse.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old to sign up. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. One person, one account is the spirit of the service.
3. The room you create
Your room and profile are yours. Decorate it, share it, take it down — it's your call. We may keep technical backups for a short period after deletion to protect against accidental loss.
When your room is set to public, anyone with the link or your number can view it. When it's private, only you can see it.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use HumanBase to harass other people, share content that is illegal where you live, post sexually explicit material involving anyone, run scams, distribute malware, or break the service deliberately. We may remove rooms or accounts that do these things, with or without notice depending on severity.
5. Custom 3D models
When you upload .glb or .gltf models, you confirm that you have the right to use and share them on HumanBase. You give us a license — limited to running the service — to host, display, and serve your model so others can see your room. You can delete your models at any time.
6. Service availability
We try to keep HumanBase up but we don't promise 100% uptime. The service is provided 'as is'. Things can break. Features can change. We will do our best to give notice of major changes that would affect your room.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, are inactive for very long periods, or that we are legally required to remove.
8. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, HumanBase is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. The total liability for any direct claim is capped at what you have paid us in the past twelve months — which, on the free tier, is zero.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. If a change is significant, we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless your local consumer law gives you stronger protections that we are not allowed to override.
